The God of glory.
We worship a God of glory.
We belong to a God of glory.
His glory is seen everywhere, every day. You cannot live and remain blind to His glory. It is all around you.
When was the last time you contemplated the glory of the Lord? When was the last time you worshipped Him? When was the last time you stopped and gave Him glory?
And in the beauty of holiness? Our God is great & glorious & beautiful. He is to be worshiped in truth & in spirit & in holiness. We must come before Him with humbleness & holiness. We must put away our wicked deeds. We must clean out our hearts and cast away our idols. We must keep His abode—our hearts—pure, & empty it for Him. This is our reasonable sacrifice.
For our God is a God of glory. Give Him the service & praise He deserves.

Angels… the heavenly beings that serve Him. They do His bidding. They carry His messages. They praise Him & sing His praises. They are fully consecrated to His service.
We have something that even the angels cannot have. We have salvation. We have the Glorious plan of redemption: before He planned the earth, the Lord planned salvation for fallen man. And in the fullness of time, He sent His Son to earth to be born of a virgin, preach the Gospel, die & take our sins upon Himself, resurrect three days later, & mount to Heaven, leaving us with the Conforter, the Holy Spirit, so that we can now live a life for Him.
We have a beautiful end to look forwards to. When our mortal life shall cease, we shall possess within the veil a life of joy & peace. We shall be in the presence of our God forever, praising Him & serving Him.
How much more beautiful & glorious is this than anything you could imagine?

If you know me, you know my greatest battle is fear. Anxiety is my ever-present companion. Overthinking is my constant state of mind. Nervousness is my chronic state of being. Fear has been and is my greatest enemy.
I was reading in Revelations chapter 1 today, & fell upon this verse…
𝓐𝓷𝓭 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝓘 𝓼𝓪𝔀 [𝓙𝓮𝓼𝓾𝓼], 𝓘 𝓯𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓪𝓽 𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓯𝓮𝓮𝓽 𝓪𝓼 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓭. 𝓐𝓷𝓭 𝓱𝓮 𝓵𝓪𝓲𝓭 𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓻𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓾𝓹𝓸𝓷 𝓶𝓮, 𝓼𝓪𝔂𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓾𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓶𝓮, “𝓕𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓷𝓸𝓽; 𝓘 𝓪𝓶 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓵𝓪𝓼𝓽: 𝓘 𝓪𝓶 𝓱𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓽𝓱, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝔀𝓪𝓼 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓭; 𝓪𝓷𝓭, 𝓫𝓮𝓱𝓸𝓵𝓭, 𝓘 𝓪𝓶 𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮, 𝓐𝓶𝓮𝓷; 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓴𝓮𝔂𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓸𝓯 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓱.“
My Jesus is forever, everlasting, eternal.
He loves me.
He has washed me from my sin.
He has given me life.
He has made me worthy.
He knows the future.
He is in control.
He is the Prince of the rulers of the world.
He is coming.
When I stop & contemplate my Lord, how can I fear?
If only I would keep my eyes on Him forever. Then would my heart be always at peace.

A Saviour is born.
New life is available to us.
We need no longer live in darkness & fear.
We can walk in light & peace.
We can LIVE.
We can live ABUNDANTLY.
Can you imagine more joyful tidings?

These joyful tidings are now OURS, to spread throughout the whole world, that all men should turn unto the living God, which made heaven, & earth, & the sea, & all things that are therein.
We have LIFE & LIGHT, in these times of darkness & death.
Are we sharing, speaking, LIVING the joyful tidings?
Jesus came so that we need no more be enslaved to sin. Are we walking in His liberty, or have we returned or stayed in the darkness?
Do we walk as children of the light?
Do we LIVE the joyful tidings?
The world is watching us. What are the glad tidings to them, if we do not embrace the life & light & healing that Jesus brought us?
Are we living the difference that He made in our lives?
How are we sharing the good tidings of great joy, which are for all people?
~ Sign ~
« For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: but we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. »
God sent us to the world to preach, not what the world considers wise words, but the cross of Jesus.
Because God’s wisdom is far wiser & more powerful than man’s.
It seems foolish to the world. It seems weak. But it is stronger and wiser than anything they have.
We are not wise or mighty or of high class. But we have God’s words & wisdom & righteousness & sanctification & redemption, & He has chosen us to preach His good news, in fair weather & in foul.
And His strength in us is what will keep us strong & hold us up against the world.
For the glory is not ours, nor theirs. It is God’s.
He will be glorified, no matter what.

“𝓗𝓸𝓵𝔂, 𝓱𝓸𝓵𝔂, 𝓱𝓸𝓵𝔂, 𝓛𝓸𝓻𝓭 𝓖𝓸𝓭 𝓐𝓵𝓶𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽𝔂, 𝔀𝓱𝓲𝓬𝓱 𝔀𝓪𝓼, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓲𝓼, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓸 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮. 𝓣𝓱𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓱𝔂, 𝓞 𝓛𝓸𝓻𝓭, 𝓽𝓸 𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓮𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓰𝓵𝓸𝓻𝔂 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓱𝓸𝓷𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓹𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓻: 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓣𝓱𝓸𝓾 𝓱𝓪𝓼𝓽 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓣𝓱𝔂 𝓹𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝔂 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓭.”
At first glance that picture looks pretty.
Then you notice it’s kinda really blurry. And there’s power lines going right across it.
But the sky is pretty! The overall idea is pretty!
Sometimes our praise is messy. Sometimes we don’t know what to say. Sometimes it’s hard for us to find things that we can praise Him for.
But they are there, no matter how blurry our eyes are. No matter how many ugly lines criss-cross them.
And He is worthy of our praise—feeble, broken, quivery as it is.
So don’t focus on how blurry your outlook is. Don’t focus on the lines.
Focus on the sunset.
Focus on the colours.
Focus on the Miracle.
Focus on God.
And praise Him.
